PHILOSOPHY
We concentrate our analysis on companies which fulfill our two criteria:
stock price more than 50% off their 52-weeks high, and
stock price less than or equal to US$10.00 a share.

Stocks with these two criteria have had a sharp short-term downturn.  These situations usually represent either a fatal failure intrinsic to the company or a reaction to situations external to the company.  These companies have shown until recently a potential which probably still exists.  Therefore, their low prices allow for big gains percentage-wise with small movements price-wise.  In addition, their low price allows an investor to move significant amounts of stock with a relatively small investment.  This scenario provides a great potential for profit, even for the small investor.

Every week we will evaluate a different company fulfilling our two criteria against our ten item checklist.  However, we understand that in the world of investments
one size does not fit all.  Instead of giving a reccommendation, we will report how a company scored on each item.  Individual item scores allow you to compare different companies using the same criteria.  As an investor, you can then decide which item or items are relevant to your investment strategy.  This will allow you to decide for yourself whether that particular opportunity is right for you.
